  OFFICE MANAGER / COMMUNICATIONS (part time)
Seeking a passionate individual who is committed to The JNP Mission.
A professionally savvy individual who will assist this start-up business in the day-to-day communication and production events/assignments to move JNP forward: locally, regionally, nationally, globally — a fantastic opportunity to grow the position as responsibilities and business develops.

Responsibilities and expectations will include:

  • strong desire to develop skills with hands-on experience, incredibly shaping your personal and professional credentials — grow the position
    • overall office management; keen organization imperative
    • events organization; based on task assignments
    • employee supervision and project management
    • initiate strategies based on meetings/research and directions for all assignments
    • daily/weekly review meetings: initiatives forward to reach desired results outlined
    • organize outreach and awareness programs/events
    • social media outreach daily/weekly/monthly
    • developing copy content
    • ensuring complete location compliance with all corporate policies and procedures is a top priority

Qualifications:

  • A four year college degree or equivalent work experience
    • 3-5 years office management experience preferred
    • knowledge a plus in: creative arena, kids esteem, education and multi-media venues
    • proficient in MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, WordPress, Internet, Flowcharting software: Mac OS / PC platforms; WordPress (website editing)
    • knowledge of social media: MailChimp; Google Analytics; Twitter; Facebook; Instagram; Google+
    • strong writing abilities and edit/proofing a plus
    • superior communication and organizational skills in reception and public/sales interaction
    • excellent time management skills
    • goal driven and motivated; self-starter who can work both independently and collaboratively
    • professional (casual) business attire at all times

Compensation:

  • based on ability, skills, experience, and speed of task’s process

Responsibilities and expectations will include:

• ability to work along side and within Creative Director’s guidance to assist and concept illustrative scenes: both full images and silhouettes
• ability to match existing illustration style identity
• astute understanding of the human form for children and adults
• ability to draw sea-creatures forms to match reality likenesses
• keen focus
• ability to ‘sketch’ initial concept ideas fluidly
• initiate creative ideas and suggestions
• establish review meetings on results and initiatives for assignment results outlined

Qualifications:

• portfolio presentation (on-line to be supplied)
• excellent free-hand drawing skill-sets (pencil preferred)
• 3-D vision
• superior communication and organizational skills
• excellent time management skills
• goal driven and motivated

• flexible schedule with ability for ‘typical’ working days/hours — advise weekly hours availability

   FREELANCE GRAPHIC DESIGNER
Seeking extremely creative individuals in the graphic arts arena: Passionate about their work and passionate about being involved with an Inner Awesome, Self-Esteem Movement (kids and adults)!

Responsibilities and expectations will include:

• ability to work with Creative Director’s guidance
• astute understanding of: web layout graphics and ability to design; functions of website graphics; and responsive design shift in layout.  — no coding knowledge is necessary
• keen focus
• ability to ‘sketch’ concept ideas for digital reproduction
• initiate creative ideas
• daily review meetings on results and initiatives for the day’s desired results outline

Qualifications:

• Creative Suite: Illustrator and Photoshop top-skills
• iBook Author Software top skills (a must to have experience in, or ability to understand editorial/book layout and this software)
• superior communication and organizational skills
• excellent time management skills
• goal driven and motivated
• self-starter who can work both independently and collaboratively
• flexible schedule with ability for ‘typical’ working days/hours — advise weekly hours availability
• professional (casual) business attire at all times

Compensation:

  BLOG CONTENT CONTRIBUTORS
Seeking highly knowledgeable professionals with a message, statistics or stories relating to self-esteem (inner awesome) — content: articles, published white papers, stories to tell — delivered through our forum/blog.

Responsibilities and expectations will include:

• working with the Editor-in-chief
• one time or monthly contribution of work options
• having credentials supporting your content
• initiate strategies based on research

Qualifications:

• knowledge a plus in: kids esteem and education through multi-media venues
• your professional credentials supporting your content

Compensation:

• TBD based on either: 1) exposure, or 2) monthly columnist

  RESEARCH INTERN PART-TIME
Seeking college students desiring an internship / mentoring experience / education with background or interest in: entrepreneurial communications, advertising/marketing, social media relating to education regarding children’s self-esteem. Interns will work out of our Annapolis office, and must have their own laptop for on-line research activities.

Responsibilities and expectations will include:

• research in family education statistics
• research in family social media usage
• initiate strategies based on research
